How to add a new asset model
To add a new asset model, go to the Assets module and click on the Asset Models tab. Click on the Add New Model button in the top right corner of the Asset Models window. 
A modal New Asset Model window will pop up.

Fill out the following information:
- Asset Type – Choose the asset type from the dropdown menu. The asset type is created by the administrator in the Organization and Configuration settings.
- Title – Title of the asset model. Usually, a label is attached to the item by the manufacturer.
- Make – The make of the asset (for example: Lenovo, Dell, Lavazza, Barista, Philips, etc).
- Notes – You can add additional information here, such as a note of where the installation CD or instructions manuals are kept.
- Life of Asset (mo.) – The length of the total life of the asset, valued in months.
When you finish, click Save. Alternatively, click on Close to abort the action and to return to the main Asset Models screen.
