What is teams time off

The Time Off Roster is designed to give a quick overview of all pending and approved time off requests.

Color coordination and visual indicators make it easier for users to distinguish between different request types and statuses.

Each bar on the roster represents the duration of a time off request.

Color meanings:

  • Green – Indicates the current day.
  • Light beige – Represents special days (e.g., national holidays).
  • Time off type colors – Correspond to the time off types listed in the legend below the roster. These colors can be defined in the Organization Configuration by an administrator.
  • Gray – Represents weekends.
  • Paler/Vibrant colors – Paler colors indicate pending requests, while more vibrant colors represent approved requests.

Note: If you have the same type of time off split between the first half and second half of a day, there will be a visible color difference, even if both entries share the same approval status, since they are treated as separate requests.

You can search the time off roster in 2 different ways:

  • Manually – Select the relevant time off request from the list.
  • By using filters – Use filters to help narrow down your search.

Hovering over any approved or pending time off entry will activate a tooltip which displays information regarding that entry.

To view a team’s time off, go to the Teams module and click the Time Off tab within the team page.
