How to record an estimate


To record an estimate, go to the Projects module and click the Transactions tab in a project’s page.

Click in the top right corner.

A dropdown menu will pop up.

Select Record Estimate to display the modal window.

Fill out the fields about the estimate: 

  • Attachment (optional) - Attach relevant files to support your transaction estimate such as receipts, calculations, quotes, proforma invoices, etc.
  • Type (required) – Select one of the estimate types. Transaction types and icons can be defined in the Organization Configuration by an administrator.
  • As of Date (required) – Indicates the date of the estimate.
  • Amount (required)– Choose a currency and add the amount to your transaction.
  • Description (optional) – Add a detailed description if applicable. 

Click Save. The estimate you have just created will now appear in the transactions grid.
