Overview of the Business Trips module


The Business Trips module in Vault Synapse is designed to help you manage every stage of business travel—from planning and approval, through execution, to post-travel administration. It centralizes all relevant trip information, including travel details, participants, costs, and related documents, ensuring that the process is organized, transparent, and easy to follow. 

In this module, you can store receipts, travel documents, and other supporting materials, then edit, share, or submit them for approval. The dashboard includes a dynamic cost graph, providing a clear view of monthly travel expenses and any recovered costs for the current year. Below the graph, a detailed list of trips displays key details such as dates, participants, client, total cost, and current status. Built-in filters let you refine results by status, client, state, or year, making it quick to locate specific trips. 

Beyond tracking and reporting, the Business Trips module also allows you to upload travel-related files, log and submit financial transactions for approval, and share trip details with external partners.
