What is a candidate list
The candidate list offers a comprehensive overview of all candidate-related data in one place. It allows you to quickly scan key information such as names, contact details, ratings, brief descriptions, current status, and more—all at a glance. Your access to specific data and files is determined by your user permissions. These rights help protect sensitive and confidential information by restricting visibility to authorized users only. The status column is especially useful, as it highlights where each candidate is in the recruitment process and can alert you when further action is required. For example, if a candidate’s status is set to Final Round, it may signal that interview feedback needs to be submitted, or an offer decision is pending. This helps your team stay aligned and proactive.
To access the candidate list, navigate to the Candidates module. From there, you’ll see a rich table of candidate profiles and associated details. You can also create a new candidate profile directly from this page, streamlining your workflow.
You can use filter grids. Use filters to help narrow down your search.
Clicking on values in the candidate view will take you to various tabs across Vault Synapse's modules.
In the candidate list, you can change and save the width of the columns in the grid itself. Click the save button to save the changes.
The columns in the grid are optional and are based on your configuration. Click the link to find out how to customize the view.
You can see this information from the candidate view:
- Full Name – Displays the candidate’s complete name.
- Contact Details – Shows the candidate’s phone number in international format.
- Description – Provides a brief summary or overview of the candidate.
- Comment – Contains internal notes to help your team track relevant information about the candidate. These notes are not visible to external users.
- Status – Reflects the candidate’s current stage in your hiring pipeline, such as Just Arrived, Considering, Round One, Final Round, or Closed.
