How to add a new checklist run
A checklist contains runs which are items in the checklist. You can have multiple runs in progress for one process type (e.g. hiring more staff, multiple test cases).
To add a new checklist run, go to the Offices module and click the Checklists tab in an office page.
Click Add Run in the top right corner.
An Add New Run modal window will pop up.
Fill out the fields about the new run:
- Checklist (required) – Select a checklist from the dropdown menu. Checklists are pulled from the Checklists module. Note that not all the checklists will appear in the dropdown; their visibility depends on its Applicable to value in the checklist. A menu of created tasks appears at the bottom of the window. Select/unselect the sections and subsections you want to include in the run. You must have at least one checklist applicable to Offices created in the Checklists module for this list to populate.
- Applicable To (optional) – The current office will populate this field by default.
- Title (required) – Give the checklist run a name.
- Description (optional) – Add a description of the checklist run.
- Assignee (required) – Assign the checklist run to yourself, another office member, or a team.
- Measure Time (required) – Select whether measuring time for completion of the checklist run is mandatory, optional, or not measured.
- Due Date (optional) – Set a due date for completion of the checklist run. Current date is preselected.
- Start Date (optional) – Set a start date for the checklist run. Current date is preselected.
- Create Routine – Tick the Create Routine box if you want to set up a routine for this checklist run. You will be presented with the following options:
- Repetition Cycle Interval – Set a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly cycle.
- Repetition Cycle Value – Set a Repetition Cycle Value higher than 0.
- Repetition Cycle Start Date (UTC) – The date and time of the first checklist run from the repetition cycle.
Click Save and you will activate your new run.
