How to add a new business trip


To create a new business trip, go to the Finance module from the main navigation sidebar and select Business Trips. When the dashboard opens, click the Add New button in the top right corner. A modal window will appear. 

Complete the following fields:

  • Client – Select the client related to this trip from the dropdown list. (You must have at least one client set up in the Clients module for this list to populate.) 
  • Title – Provide a name for the business trip, which will appear on the dashboard. 
  • Description – Add a brief description or purpose of the trip. 
  • From / To – Select the start and end dates of the trip from the calendar. 
  • Status – Choose from Planned, Approved, Cancelled, Ready for Closure, or Closed. 
  • Notes – Optionally include additional trip details. 
  • Is Billable – Tick this box if the trip will be invoiced to the client. 
  • Is Active – Keep this checked to make the trip visible in the system. 

Once completed, click Save.
