What is a client board


A client board is a visual ticketing and issue-tracking tool that displays the progress of tasks, their assignees, and other key components of a client’s project. It uses symbols, colors, and charts to provide a clear overview of ongoing work and overall project status.

Client boards promote transparency and accountability by showing who is responsible for each task and how far along they are in the process. This visibility helps ensure that the right tasks are being addressed at the right time.

Boards also support productivity and continuous improvement. By tracking completed work and analyzing previous progress, teams can identify inefficiencies, prevent recurring mistakes, and refine their processes for future client projects.

To see your client’s boards, go to the Clients module and click the Boards tab in the client's page. You will be presented with different boards all related to your selected client. You can create a new board directly from this page.

Note! Board templates can be configurated in the Organization Configuration by an administrator.

You can search for a board in 2 different ways: 

  • Manually – Select the relevant board from the list.
  • By using filters – Use filters to help narrow down your search.

From the client board's view, you can access the Kanban view of a board. 

If a default board is set up, the Kanban view of that board will be displayed. If you want to go to the main board view, click All Boards under the additional board menu.
