How to add a new status
To add a new status, go to the Projects module and click the Status tab in of a project's page.

Click Add New Status in the top right corner.

A Project Status modal window will pop up.

Fill out the fields about the new status:
- As of Date – Choose a date for the status from the date picker.
- Status Summary – Clicking on this field opens a dropdown menu of status stages. Select a status that applies to the project. Status Summary types can be defined in the Organization Configuration by an administrator.
- Status Color – Choose a color that represents the status you’re applying to the project. You can select red, amber, or green. Color types are set up by the system.
- Schedule – Select one item from the dropdown menu. Schedule types can be defined in the Organization Configuration by an administrator. The items are linked with colors. For example, “Work is on track and in line with the defined schedule” would be displayed with a green color.
- Comment – You can add more details here, if applicable.
- Resourcing – Select one item from the dropdown menu. Resourcing types can be defined in the Organization Configuration by an administrator. The items are linked with colors. For example, “Resourcing is on the edge. Possible risks” would be displayed with an amber color.
- Risks – Select one item from the dropdown menu. Risk types can be defined in the Organization Configuration by an administrator. The items are linked with colors. For example, “Possible risks on the horizon” would be displayed with an amber color.
- Attachments – You can drop or upload files from your desktop or cloud-based storage applications in the top right corner, if applicable.
- Additional Editing Function – A large editable box divides the modal form into a top and a bottom part. The box allows for editing as any other document in Microsoft Word would. You can insert tables, web links, pictures, and videos here. Go to the full screen and format your text.
Review your information and click Save.
