How to manage an asset


To manage an asset associated with an office, go to the Offices module and click the Assets tab inside the office page.

Select the asset from the asset list that you wish to edit by clicking the checkbox next to its name.

Click in the top right corner and a dropdown menu with a range of events will appear.

Select an event to manage an asset:

  • Move assets – Change the location of an asset.
  • Log inspection – Log an inspection that's been carried out on an asset.
  • Log maintenance – Log maintenance that’s been carried out on an asset.
  • Dispose – Change the asset status of any assets that are no longer wanted or are unused or disposed.
  • Transfer (out) – Record the transfer of an asset from one location to another.
  • Transfer (in) – Record the arrival of an asset at their destination. 
  • Log sighting – Record the sighting of an asset at a location. 
  • Print asset labels – Create QR codes to attach to assets so that you can keep track of them. 
  • Export as – Enables you to export a record of an asset as an excel, CSV or Json document.
