How to customize the list view
To customize the list view, click the gear
icon in the top right corner.

A Customize View modal window with customization options pops up.

- You can search the grid in the modal window.
- The columns in the grid are in alphabetical order.
- The modal window is divided into two parts, left and right. The left part shows all the columns that can be displayed.
To activate a column, tick a box next to a selected field. If you want to deactivate a column, untick a box next to a selected field or click X on the right side of the selected column.

The eye
icon, located at the far left of the line of a field, shows that the specific field is considered confidential.

On the right side of the modal window, you can rearrange the column order with the drag and drop feature.

On the left side of the modal window, you can (based on your permissions):
- Update the current view – Applicable for all users.
- Set as default – You can set up a default view for all users if you have permission to do so. Users that haven’t updated their current view will see the default view that has been created.
- Reset to default – The view will return to the default view.

Once you have made your changes, click Apply to confirm your new view.
Note! Vault Synapse is highly customizable tool certain parts and functionalities of the application can be built-in or customized based on your business needs and preferences.
Note! Without sufficient permission, the column remains visible to you. However, you will not be able to view the data in that column.
