How to log an inspection of an asset


To log an inspection of an asset associated with an office, go to the Offices module and click the Assets tab inside the office page. Select the assets you want to log for inspection.

Click in the top right corner of the screen and click log inspection.

An Add New Event modal window will pop up.

Fill out the fields about the new event:

  • Type – This is automatically generated by the system and cannot be changed. This shows the type of event you are assigning to the asset. 
  • Note (required) – Summarize the action you want to perform.
  • Additional Comments (optional) – Additional information to describe the event.
  • As of Date (required) – The date of inspection. Current date is preselected.
  • Attachment (optional) – Upload files to support the event.
  • Condition (required) – Outcome of the inspection. Condition types are set up in the system.
  • Assets – Shows the selected assets. You can select/remove other assets in this field. 

Click Save to update the status of the selected asset.
