What is a contact list
The Contacts module in Vault Synapse provides a centralized hub for storing, viewing, and managing all your company’s contact information. Instead of searching through multiple applications or scattered files, you can keep every detail in one place—secure, organized, and easily accessible. This includes contacts linked to Admissions, Candidates, Clients, Company Contacts, Offices, Opportunities, Projects, and Vendors.
To see the contact list, go to the Contacts module. You will be presented with a lot of valuable information. You can also create a new contact directly from this page.
You can filter grids. Use filters to help narrow down your search.
Clicking on values in the contact view will take you to specific tabs across Vault Synapse’s modules.
In the contact list, you can change and save the width of the columns in the grid itself. Click
to save the changes.
The columns in the grid are optional and are based on your configuration. Click the link to find out how to customize the view.
You can see this information from the contact view:
- Name – The full name of the contact.
- Birthday – The contact’s date of birth.
- Related To – The entity (e.g., project, organization, etc.) the contact is associated with.
- Misc – Social media platforms or other relevant identifiers linked to the contact.
- Email – The contact’s email address.
- Phone – One or more phone numbers associated with the contact.
- Company – The name of the company the contact is affiliated with.
- Job Title – The contact’s professional title or position within the company.
- Department – The department the contact belongs to.
- Gender – The contact’s gender information, if available.
- State – Indicates whether the contact is currently active or inactive in the system.
