What is time tracking for an office


Vault Synapse enables you to track the total number of hours office members have worked in an office and to view the recorded time spent on office tasks. It also shows how many resources have been allocated to these tasks and allows you to manage allocations directly.

Detailed time entries provide deeper insight into work processes, helping you understand how tasks are progressing. In addition, the Summary tab offers a wide range of filters, enabling you to generate customized reports tailored to your needs.

Time tracking is key to productivity and a smooth workflow. If you notice some tasks take a long time to complete, you can evaluate whether the task is profitable or could be outsourced or executed in a different way. Time tracking allows you to make smart decisions about pricing and how you manage your offices. 

To see an office’s time tracking, go to the Offices module and select the office you want to see the time tracking for.

Click the Time Tracking tab in the navigation header. The Tasks, Allocations, Time Entries, and Summary tabs will be displayed. From here, you can review tasks, manage allocations, see a calendar view of the tracked time, and see a summary of billable and non-billable hours.
