What is a department dashboard

In Vault Synapse, each department has its own dashboard, a central place where key information is summarized for quick access. The department dashboard provides an at-a-glance view of basic details, hiring statistics, and important dates, while also serving as a gateway to more detailed data.

To access a department dashboard, open the Departments module and click the name of the selected department. By default, the system will open the department dashboard.

On the dashboard, you can view the department’s full name, managers’ initials, hiring stats in graphical form, a Key Dates Calendar and more. An Edit button lets you update the department’s information directly. Follow the link to learn more about department Basic Info.

To switch between dashboards, click the arrow icon next to the Dashboard tab and select the department you want to view. 


How to edit a dashboard

In the Departments module, open the department you want to update and click Edit. A modal window will appear.

Make the necessary changes and click Save to apply them.
