Vendors


Keep information about Vendors and related contracts in one place. Users with access can review each vendor and get information about tasks, assets or transactions bound to a specific vendor.

You can enable/disable this entity by clicking the toggle in the top right corner and edit or restore the file type default settings. You can view, add or delete approval setups from here.


How to edit file type settings in the Vendors module

Select a file type from the list and click the action icon at the end of the row. Click edit.

You can now view the file type settings. Edit the fields as required and click Save


How to restore default file types in the Vendors module

Select a file type from the list and click the action icon at the end of the row. Click restore defaults.

You can now view the file type’s default settings. Click Save to restore defaults.


How to add a new approval setup in the Vendors module

Click the Add New button at the far end of the Approval Setup line.

A modal window will open.

Fill out the following fields:

  • Entity Type (required) – Vendors will be populated by default, but you can add this approval setup for any entity available from the dropdown.
  • Goal Approver Points (required) – Enter a value manually into the field or use the counter to determine the number of Approver Points.
  • Approval For – Select what the approval is for from the dropdown list.

When finished, click Save.


How to add an approval setup group in the Vendors module

Click the action icon next to the company you want add a new approval setup to. Click add new.

A modal window will pop up.

Fill out the following fields:

  • User (required) – Select a user from the dropdown list.
  • Approval Limit – Enter a value manually in this field or use the counter.
  • Self Approval Limit – Define the limit up to which the user can approve themselves. Type a value into the field or use the counter.
  • Budget Limit – Type a value into the field or use the counter to define the budget limit.
  • Points for Approver – Type a value into the field or use the counter to give points for the Approver.

When finished click Save.


How to edit a company’s approval setup in the Vendors module

Select the company whose approval set you want to edit from the list and click the action icon next to it. Click edit.

The Approval Settings window will pop up. Edit the fields as required and click Save.

Note that the Entity Type field cannot be edited.


How to delete a company’s approval setup in the Vendors module

Select the company whose approval setup you want to delete from the list and click the action icon next to it. Click delete.

A warning message will pop up. If you are sure, click OK to delete this approval setup. 


How to edit an approval setup group in the Vendors module

Select the user whose approval setup you want to edit from the list and click the action icon at the end of the row. Click edit.

You can now view the user’s approval setup settings. Edit the fields as required and click Save. Note that the User field cannot be edited.

Select the user whose approval setup you want to edit from the list and click the action icon at the end of the row. Click delete

A warning message will pop up. If you are sure, click OK to delete the approval setup group.
