What is an office board


The office task board is a ticketing and issue-tracking tool designed to visualize the progress of tasks, responsibilities, and key activities within an office. It uses symbols, colors, and charts to provide a clear, at-a-glance overview of ongoing work.

By making responsibilities and progress visible, the board promotes transparency and accountability. Team members can immediately see who is working on what and how far along each task is in the process. This ensures that the right tasks are addressed at the right time, while giving assignees a clear view of their progress toward completion.

The task board also contributes to long-term efficiency. By redefining and refining tasks on the board, it helps prevent mistakes from being repeated and supports continuous improvement in office operations.

To see your office’s boards, go to the Offices module and click the Boards tab in the office page. You will be presented with different boards all related to your selected office. You can create a new board directly from this page.

Note! Board templates can be configurated in the Organization Configuration by an administrator.

You can search for a board in 2 different ways: 

  • Manually – Select the relevant board from the list.
  • By using filters – Use filters to help narrow down your search.

From the office board's view, you can be taken to the Kanban view of a specific board.

If a default board is set up, the Kanban view of that board will be displayed. If you want to go to the main board view, click All Boards under the additional board menu.
