What are team details
What are team details
Each team has a dedicated section where its key information is stored and summarized for quick reference. The Details page provides an overview of essential team data such as the team’s name, description, associated companies, contact email, logo, team leaders, and any related notes.
You can update this information at any time by opening the Details form, making the necessary edits, and saving your changes. This helps ensure that team records remain accurate and up to date.
To view information about a team, go to the Teams module and open the team you wish to review. Click the Details tab to access the team’s detailed information.
The Details form contains the following:
- Team Name – Enter the official name of the team. This field is required.
- Email – Provide a contact email address for the team. This email can be used for notifications or group communication.
- Description – Add a short summary describing the team’s purpose, responsibilities, or key functions.
- Team Leaders – Select one or more team leaders from the list of available users. Team leaders will have management privileges within the team.
- Companies – Choose one or more companies associated with the team from the dropdown list.
- Is Active – Tick this box to activate the team. Leaving it unticked will keep the team inactive.
- Attachment – Upload an image or logo to visually represent the team.
How to add a note
On the Team Details page, click the Add New button. A modal window will appear. Type your note into the input field and click Save. The new note will now appear on the team’s details page.
How to delete a note
To delete a note, click the trash can (🗑) icon next to it. A confirmation message will appear—click OK to confirm and remove the note from the team’s details page.
Note! Vault Synapse is a highly customizable tool, meaning certain fields can be additionally customized based on your business needs and preferences.
Note! A user can access the team's information only with the relevant permissions/access rights given by the administrator.
