What is the time off roster
The time off roster provides users with a clear overview regarding time off requests within the whole configuration across companies. Visual features and color options make it easier for users to distinguish time off requests.
To view the time off roster, go to the My Time Off module which is located under the
icon in the main navigation sidebar and click the Time Off Roster tab.

From this screen you can deny, approve, or edit time off requests. Click the
icon, enter a message, and click the action you want to perform for the selected time off request.

The time off roster is designed to provide a quick overview of pending and approved requests through color coordination. Bars represent the duration of the time off request. Here are the color meanings:
- Green – Represents the current day.
- Light beige – Represents special days.
- Time off type colors – The colors correspond to the time off types found in the legend below the roster. The time off type colors can be defined in the Organization Configuration by an administrator.
- Gray – Represents weekends.
- Paler/Vibrant – Paler colors represent pending requests. A more vibrant version of the color indicates approved requests.
Note! If you have the same type of time off split into the first half of the day and the second half of the day, it doesn’t matter if they are both approved or pending as there will be a color difference because they are two separate entries.

You can search the time off roster in 2 different ways:
- Manually – Select the relevant time off request from the list.
- By using filters – Use filters to help narrow down your search.

Hovering over any approved or pending time off entry will activate a tooltip which displays information regarding that entry.
