What is a task section in a checklist run
A recurring process usually requires different types of tasks to be completed. All tasks relate to a checklist run, but there are some tasks that relate to each other. This is where a task section becomes useful. Group up tasks that relate to each other under a section. You can create as many sections in one checklist run as you need. This provides a clear structure and easy monitoring of task completion.
How to add a task section
To add a new task section, go to the Checklists module and click on the checklist you would like to add a task section to.

Go to Tasks tab and click Add Section in the top right corner of the screen of the Tasks page.

A modal window will pop up.

Fill out the following fields:
- Name - Give the section a name.
- Description - You can add more details about the section here.
- Assignee - Start typing into this field to quickly find the assignee in the dropdown list. Assignees are defined in the Users module.
- Due Date - This consists of two fields. Enter the number of days into the first field (or use the counter), which will relate to one of the options in the second days field: after run created date, after run due date, after section due date, before run created date, before run due date, before section due date, or start of the month.
When finished, click Save. Click Close to abort the action.
How to edit a task section
To edit a task section, go to the Checklists module and click on the checklist you would like to edit a task section for.

In the navigation header, tap the Tasks tab. Select the section you want to edit and press the ... at the end of the row. Click edit.

A modal window will pop up. Edit the info as required and click Save. Click Close to abort the action.

How to delete a task section
To delete a task section, go to the Checklists module and click on the checklist you would like to delete a task section for.

In the navigation header, tap the Tasks tab. Select the section you want to delete and click ... at the end of the row. Click delete.

A warning message will pop up. If you are sure you want to delete the section, confirm OK. To abort the action, click Cancel.
