How to create a new dashboard


To create a new dashboard, go to the Clients module and click the Dashboard tab in a client’s page. Click the link to find out how to search for a client.

Click on the dropdown icon next to the Dashboard tab. Click Add New Dashboard. The dropdown menu will house all other dashboards, either system or personal ones. Choose what type of dashboard you want to add here.

There are two dashboard types: System and Personal.

System Dashboard

System dashboards are visible to all users that have access to the client dashboard. Any changes made to a system dashboard will apply across the whole organization.

Personal Dashboard

Personal dashboards are created by users and are only visible to them.

An Add New Dashboard modal window will pop up.

Fill out the fields about the new dashboard:

  • Name (required) – Give the dashboard a name.
  • Description (optional) – Add a description of the dashboard.
  • Is System Dashboard – If you want the dashboard to be visible to everyone across the organization who has access rights, tick this checkbox. If you want the dashboard to be private, this checkbox must remain unticked.

Click Save and then you will have successfully created a new dashboard. You are now ready to add your widgets. Click the link to find out how to add a widget.
