Business Trips


The Business Trips module provides a centralized view of all company business trips, including trip purpose, participants, destination, client, associated costs, and other details. It also serves as a secure space to store related files such as receipts, approved budgets, and travel documents. Additionally, the module allows you to share billable trip data directly with a client when required. 

Within the configuration view, you can manage File Types for storing related documents and configure Approval Setup for managing the approval process.

You can activate or deactivate the module by toggling the switch in the top right corner of the screen. 


File types in Business Trip

File types are displayed in four columns: Name (file type name), Entity Type (the entity or module it belongs to), File Type (the file format such as PDF, JPG, etc.), and Max Size (the maximum allowed file size in MB). 

At the end of each row, the action icon () allows you to edit the file type or restore its settings to default. To add a new file type, click the Add New button.


How to edit file types in Business Trips

Locate the file type you wish to modify, click the action icon (…) at the end of its row, and select Edit. Update the required fields and click Save to apply your changes.


How to restore default file types in Business Trips

Find the file type you want to reset, click the action icon (…) at the end of its row, and choose Restore Defaults. A modal window with default file type settings will appear. Enter the File Type and Max Size (both required), then click Save to confirm.


Approval setup in Business Trips

In the Business Trips configuration view, you can also manage approval workflows. Next to the module name, you’ll see the total points assigned to the approvers group along with the action icon (…) for adding, editing, or deleting an approval setup.

Approval setup groups are displayed in a list organized by company, with six columns: Approver Name, Points, Approval Limit, Budget Limit, Self-Approval Limit, and Last Change. The action icon () at the end of each row allows you to edit or remove an approver. 


How to edit the approval setup in Business Trips

Select the approval entry you want to update, click the action icon (…) at the end of its row, and choose Edit. In the modal window, enter or adjust the Approval Limit, Self-Approval Limit, Budget Limit, and Points for Approver fields. You can either type values manually or use the built-in counter. Click Save when finished.


How to delete an approval in Business Trips

To remove an approval, locate it in the list, click the action icon () at the end of the row, and select Delete. A warning message will appear—click OK to confirm. 


How to add a new approval setup 

Click the Add New button in the top right corner of the screen. In the modal window, the Entity Type field will default to Business Trips, but you can choose another entity from the dropdown if needed. Enter the required Goal Approver Points, either manually or using the counter, select the company in the Approval For field, and click Save to complete the setup.
