How to create a new dashboard


To create a new dashboard, go to the Contacts module and click the Dashboard tab inside a contact's page. Click the link to find out how to search for a contact. 

Click on the dropdown icon next to the Dashboard tab. Click Add New Dashboard. The dropdown menu will house all other dashboards, either system or personal ones. Choose here what type of dashboard you want to add.  

There are two dashboard types, System and Personal dashboard.   

System dashboard  

System dashboards are visible to all users that have access to the contact dashboard. Any changes made to a system dashboard will apply across the whole organization.   

Personal dashboard  

Personal dashboards are created by users and are only visible to them.  

An Add New Dashboard modal window pops up.  

Fill out the fields about the new dashboard:  

  • Name – Give the dashboard a name. 
  • Description – Add a description of the dashboard. 

Click Save and then you have successfully created a new dashboard. You are now ready to add your widgets. Click the link to find out how to add a widget.
