Assets

The Assets module allows you to take full control over your company’s assets by providing detailed information such as asset descriptions, locations, statuses, warranty and expiration dates, assigned users, and more.

To configurate the module, open the Configuration window from the sidebar, select Modules, choose Assets, and click Open.

You can activate or deactivate the module by toggling the switch in the top right corner of the screen.

File types in Assets

File types in the Assets module are displayed by the asset’s name, entity type, file type, and maximum file size (in MB). The action icon (…) at the end of each row allows you to edit a file type or restore its default settings.

How to edit file types in the Assets module

To edit a file type, click the action icon (…) at the end of the relevant row and select Edit. A modal window will open where you can modify the File Type and Max Size (required field). Once you have made your changes, click Save to apply them. 

How to restore file type defaults in the Assets module

To restore a file type to its default configuration, click the action icon (…) at the end of the relevant row and select Restore Defaults. A modal window with the default values will appear. Click Save to confirm and apply the default settings.
