Special days for a company
How to set up special days for a company
To configure special days for a company, start by clicking on your profile icon in the main navigation bar. Select Organization, navigate to the Companies tab, and choose the company you want to manage. Once inside the company profile, click on the Special Days tab.
To add a new special day, click the Add New button. This will open the creation form, where you can define the details of the special day. Complete the following fields:
- Name – Enter the name of the special day (e.g., Company Anniversary, Volunteer Day).
- Color – Choose a color that will represent the day on the calendar.
- Icon – Select an icon from the available styles (Brands, Bold, Regular, or Light) to visually represent the event.
- Short Name – Enter a brief label or abbreviation for the special day.
- Repetition Type – Specify whether the event occurs One Time or Yearly.
- Hours Expected – Define the number of working hours expected for that day, if applicable.
- Special Day Date – Select the date from the calendar picker.
Once all fields are completed, click Save to add the special day to the company’s calendar.
These special days will be reflected across relevant modules, helping teams plan around unique company events or non-standard working days.
How to edit, delete or deactivate special days
To manage an existing special day, navigate to the Special Days tab within the desired company profile. Locate the special day you want to modify in the list.
Click on the three-dot menu (⋮) at the end of the corresponding row. From the dropdown options, choose whether you want to Edit, Delete, or Deactivate the special day:
- Edit – Opens the edit form where you can modify any of the existing details. After making changes, click Save to apply them.
- Delete – Permanently removes the special day from the system. You will be asked to confirm the deletion.
- Deactivate – Temporarily disables the special day without removing it completely. This can be useful if the event is not needed for the current year but may be used in the future.
Always make sure to confirm your actions and save changes to ensure updates are applied successfully.
