Offices
The Offices module offers an overview of personnel time tracking, time off, assets used in offices, and financial monitoring of revenue and expenses.
You can enable or disable the module using the toggle at the top-right corner. You can also enable or disable time tracking using the dedicated toggle. From here, you can edit file types, restore defaults, and manage approval setups.
How to enable/disable time tracking for the Offices module
To turn time tracking for offices on or off, simply use the toggle in the Offices window.
How to edit file types in the Offices module
To edit file types in the Offices module, locate the desired item in the list and click the action icon at the end of the row. Select Edit, make the necessary updates to the fields, and then click Save to apply the changes.
How to restore default file types in the Offices module
To restore file types to their default settings, choose a file type from the list, click the action icon, and select Restore Defaults. In the modal window that appears, confirm the action by clicking Save.
How to add a new approval setup in the Offices module
To add a new approval setup group, select an office from the list, click the action icon next to it, and choose Add New. Fill in the required fields for User, Approval Limit, Self-Approval Limit, Budget Limit, and Points for Approver, then click Save to confirm.
- Entity Type (required) – Offices will be populated by default, but you can choose any entity available from the dropdown list. That means you can add a new approval setup for a different entity than Offices. This is also valid for the Approval For field.
- Goal Approver Points (required) – Enter a value into this field or use the counter to determine Goal Approver Points.
- Approval For – Enter what the approval is for or select an item from the dropdown list.
How to add a new approval setup group in the Offices module
Select an office from the list, tap the action icon next to it and click add new. A modal window opens. Fill out the following fields:
- User (required) – Select a user from the dropdown list.
- Approval Limit – Type a value into this field or use the counter to set an approval limit.
- Self Approval Limit – Type a value into this field or use the counter to set a self-approval limit for the user.
- Budget Limit – Type a value into this field or use the counter to determine the budget limit.
- Points for Approver (required) – Type a value into this field or use the counter to set the points for approver.
When finished, click Save.
How to edit an approval setup in the Offices module
Select the item you want to edit from the list and tap the action icon next to it. Click edit. A window with the Approval Setup settings will open. You will not be able to edit the Entity Type, but can change Goal Approver Points and Approval For info. When finished, click Save.
How to delete an approval setup in the Offices module
Select the item you want to delete from the list and tap the action icon next to it. Click delete. A warning message will pop up. If you are sure, tap OK to delete the item.
How to edit an approval setup group in the Offices module
Select a user from the list and tap the action icon at the end of the row. Click edit. You can now view the approval setup for the chosen user. You can edit all fields but the User fields. Click Save when finished.
How to delete an approval setup group in the Offices module
Select the item you want to delete from the list. Tap the action icon next to it and click delete. A warning message will pop up. If you are sure, click OK to delete the user’s approval setup.
