User assets

How to view user assets

To view a user’s assets, navigate to the Users module, select a user, and open the Assets tab. A list of devices associated with the user account will be displayed, along with Serial number, asset model, acquisition date, asset kit, asset type and more.

You can filter grids. Use filters to help narrow down your search.

Clicking on values in the asset view will take you to various tabs across Vault Synapse's modules.

The display function allows you to choose how many items appear on a page (10, 20, 50, or 100).

In the asset list, you can change and save the width of the columns in the grid itself. Click the save button to save the changes.

The columns in the grid are optional and are based on your configuration. Click the link to find out how to customize the view.

You can see this information from the asset view:

  • Model – The model of the asset, such as Lenovo P14S, Apple MacBook Air 13.6". etc. Select the asset model from the dropdown.
  • S/N – The serial number of the asset.

  • Quick Warning – A quick warning can be added to the asset on its details page to ensure an action is performed. For example: “inspection unsatisfactory”.
  • Quick Criticality – A quick criticality added to an asset on its Details page can alert the person responsible when they need to act. For example: “broken, immediate replacement required”.
