Contracts


The Contracts module stores and manages all company agreements. You can add reminders, key dates, notes, and enable or disable time tracking for contracts. File types and auto numbering settings can also be configured here. 


How to enable/disable time tracking for the Contracts module

To turn time tracking for contracts on or off, simply use the toggle in the Contracts window. 


How to edit time tracking settings for the Contracts module

Click the gear icon next to Time Tracking and fill in:

  • Time Entries at Level (required) – Entity, Entity Type, Task List, or Task.
  • Default Task List Type – Select from admin-defined options (e.g., Archive, New, Release).
  • Activity Type – Select from admin-defined categories (e.g., Support, Sales).
  • Maximum Time Entry Duration (minutes) – Define the limit; entries exceeding this will not save.
  • Maximum Deleting/Editing/Logging Limits – Set allowed timeframes for each action.

Click Save when done. 


How to edit file types in the Contracts module

Select the file type, click the action icon, choose Edit, update details, and click Save


How to restore default file types in the Contracts module

Select the file type, click the action icon, choose Restore Defaults, and click Save


How to edit auto-numbering settings in the Contracts module

Select the company, click the action icon, choose Edit, enter a Numbering Pattern, set the Next Number in Sequence, and click Save
