How to customize and configure the settings of a department


The settings of a department allow you to customize the processes and information related to a department. Choose from the Boards, Personnel, Projects, Time Off, Time Tracking and Transactions modules for your additional settings. You can only see the modules which you have a license for and which were set up at the Departments module level. On the Departments level, you can give access control to department members.

To configure the settings of a department, go to the Departments module and open the department. Click in the navigation header and then click Settings

Click Modules on the left-hand side of the Settings window. A window displaying the available modules will open. Click the toggle to activate each module individually. You can only turn on those modules which were set up under the Departments level as On (Activated Individually). Click Access Control on the left-hand side of the Settings window. From here you can grant access to new users, revoke access, add relative roles, filter users based on roles, and see teams.

Click Save for the configuration to apply.
