How to submit transaction items for approval


To submit transaction items for approval, go to the Departments module and click the Transactions tab in a department’s page. 

Click the action icon at the far-right end of the filter line and select submit for approval.

A dropdown menu will pop up. 

Note! You must have at least one draft estimate in transactions for this list to populate. 

A Submit for Approval modal window will appear. Type in your Request Message.

All draft transactions will appear in the list. You can submit all of them at once or choose specific transactions by unticking checkboxes of transactions that you don’t want to submit at this point of time. Click Submit. If you are an assigned approver, tap Submit and Approve.

Color codes for estimates and budgets are predefined by the system. Estimates are marked according to their type, and budgets are marked green.

Note! At least one approver must be set up prior to submitting a transaction for approval. An administrator can set up an approver in the Organization Configuration.
